You can easily pin any application to taskbar in Windows but it is not possible to add your favorite folder to taskbar. However there is a nifty workaround that allows you to do it. This workaround works on Windows 10, 8 and 7.
To pin a folder to taskbar in windows just create shortcut of the folder and type “explorer” followed by a space just before the folder’s path in the shortcut Properties window, then click Apply. Now right click on the icon and select Pin to taskbar option to pin to taskbar.
With this workaround you can add as many folders as you want. It seems like you can simply pin folders to taskbar just by drag-and-drop. However it will not add folders to taskbar. If you have any doubt you can try it and let me know in the comments below.
